Administrative Assistant - Hospital Setting
This is an exciting opportunity for an administrative professional to join our team as a Ward Clerk providing support to patients and staff in a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including admission and discharge processes, managing incoming and outgoing calls, and providing timely and accurate information to queries from patients, visitors, and other staff and departments.
Key responsibilities include working alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus, and intermediate-advanced skills using the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy.
A Certificate in Medical terminology is highly regarded, but not essential. The candidate must also demonstrate high level time management and organisational skills, ability to work within a team environment and multitask, and willingness to learn and grasp concepts with ease.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to provide timely and accurate information.
- Intermediate-advanced skills using the Microsoft office suite, with ability to maintain data entry accuracy.
- High level time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and multitask.
