Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispatch Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis in the distribution facility. Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, you will be responsible for the support and coordination of trucks and deliveries coming in and out of the warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain a reliable and efficient dispatch service for all customers
  • Organise transportation of customer orders as required
  • Resolve any arising problems or customer complaints and re-assign or re-schedule any return deliveries
  • Manage requests for add-ons to runs and ensure they are accurately recorded
  • Prepare and distribute daily Interstate backorder reports
  • Manage the Distribution mailbox to ensure all communications are answered in a timely manner
  • Manage customer transactions serving customers in the Despatch Office
  • Process local orders through the Titan system
  • Contact site supervisors/customers to confirm site readiness for delivery/collection of products

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar production environment is essential
  • Dispatching experience: 1 year (required)
  • Australian Work Authorisation (required)
