Network Security Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at TPG Telecom. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing security solutions that protect our network and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security projects that deliver domain-impacting solutions and projects
  • Develop solutions that ensure design standards are followed and highlight potential deviations that may impact capacity, performance, lifecycle, and security objectives
  • Support teams through design approval, testing, and acceptance
  • Contribute to the system architectural and capability evolution
  • Ensure compliance and integration with the Enterprise Architecture
  • Identify and investigate opportunities to utilize and integrate emerging technologies to provide cost-effective, flexible solutions
  • Enhance Network Security Services systems in relation to those systems' capacity, performance, and lifecycle
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Good understanding of security architecture and environments
  • Technically proficient within the relevant technology domain, familiarity with multiple technology domains
  • Fortinet, Routing, and Security experience
  • Ability to identify and implement steps to mitigate project risks reducing TPG exposure to project delays, additional costs, and service impacts
