About the Role

As a skilled Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in preparing and negotiating contracts, managing subcontractor claims and payments, and supporting both construction and design teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, negotiating, and administering subcontracts, variations, and progress claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing project costs, budgets, and cash flow, including forecasting and tender analysis.
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support project delivery and resolve issues.
  • Reviewing and processing invoices, payments, and accruals in line with the Security of Payments Act and company procedures.
  • Maintaining contract records, reports, and financial systems to support project performance and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, completion and close out.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • A current C-Class Driver's License.
