**About the Role:**
We have a rare opportunity for an Area Manager Foodservice – NSW to join our team and service North of Sydney and North Coast. This role is responsible for driving profitable volume and product range within the existing customer base and pursuing new business opportunities in new and existing markets (end users).
**Responsibilities:**
* Field visits to distributors and end users across designated territory, including regional areas, at least 80% of the time
* Service existing customers via planned territory call frequency
* Promote the Company's products and professional image
* Sell the whole product portfolio
* Achieve new business targets across all channels
* Execute the agreed Planned Call in every outlet/customer
* Communicate with and provide information to Sales, Marketing, R&D, supply chain, and National Contact Centre
* Action all complaints within 48 hours
* Reduction of pricing Claims by 50%
**Requirements:**
* Previous work experience in distributor environments, smallgoods manufacturing, or FMCG
* Experience in sales/retail sales/marketing, preferably in the grocery food industry
* Solid knowledge and understanding of commercial acumen, company compliance, policies & procedures, and government regulations
* Proven track record of business improvement initiatives
* Degree/Tertiary qualified
* Proficient in delivering high-quality customer & client service, providing customers with options and solutions
* Strong written communication skills – ability to structure logical presentations and communicate points clearly
* Ability to think strategically and to lead, advanced troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to forecast future trends, evaluating market information, and understanding demand management
* Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools
* Proficient intermediate user of Microsoft Office (particularly Mac/Tablet based)
* Strong networking skills with a positive attitude, a 'can do' mindset to achieve outcomes
* Self-motivated, shows initiative, can think on your feet with a calming nature
