Disability Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to provide assistance and care to individuals in the Campbelltown area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, community access, social companionship, domestic duties, meal preparation, transport, and other support services as needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities
  • Supporting individuals with physical disabilities to participate in community activities
  • Assisting with domestic duties and meal preparation
  • Transporting clients to appointments and engaging in social activities
  • Continence management and hoist transfers

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use a mobile app for scheduling
  • First aid and CPR certification
