This role spearheads a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-impact policy advice, complex projects, and reform initiatives related to land management in Victoria.
About the RoleThe Lead Strategic Policy Advisor is responsible for leading an inclusive and high-performing workforce that drives outcomes, fosters collaboration, and provides expert advice to stakeholders.
- Leverages expertise in land legislation, policy, and administration to drive strategic outcomes
- Develops and implements effective policies and programs that impact government priorities
- Fosters strong relationships with government agencies and stakeholders to inform decision-making
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of land management policies and practices in the Victorian context
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field would be highly regarded
The Department brings together capabilities to deliver whole-of-state services.
The Planning and Land Services Group ensures secure registration services, provides specialist transport property services, and manages state planning systems.
