Colorectal Cancer Care Clinical Nurse Consultant Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Colorectal Cancer Care Clinical Nurse Consultant.

You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients with colorectal cancer, utilising your advanced clinical knowledge and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact.

  • You will be responsible for providing tailored education, psychological support and clinical coordination to patients and their families.
  • Your strong leadership and advocacy skills will enable you to work effectively within clinical settings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be committed to accurate data reporting aligned with McGrath Foundation standards.

Requirements

  • Advanced clinical knowledge and leadership in cancer care, with at least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with 3 years experience in oncology and/or palliative care.
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Ability to provide tailored education, psychological support and clinical coordination.
  • Strong leadership and advocacy within clinical settings.
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to accurate data reporting aligned with McGrath Foundation standards.
