We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cancer Care Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cancer care, with a strong focus on colorectal cancer. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions throughout the patient's journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert clinical guidance and support to patients and their families;
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients;
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery;
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research, treatments, and best practices in cancer care.
Requirements:
- Advanced clinical knowledge and leadership experience in cancer care, with a minimum of 5 years' full-time equivalent post-registration experience;
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals;
- Strong leadership and advocacy skills, with the ability to drive positive change and improvement in cancer care;
