Job Title: Area Head of Logistics

Maersk Logistics & Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our logistics and procurement operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of procurement professionals to drive commercial growth and organizational transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize procurement efforts and drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead negotiations with senior stakeholders to secure favorable contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with Maersk Contract Management frameworks and best-in-class supplier performance.
  • Drive digital transformation and innovation in supplier engagements and business plans.
  • Perform market analytics and intelligence to create a competitive edge for Maersk's book of business.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, contract and lead logistics, and procurement.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead digital change and transformation, with high learning agility and a willingness to challenge and bring change.
  • Experience in managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
