We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Specialist to join our team in Singleton, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general household tasks (dishes, laundry, tidying) to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support individuals with basic meal preparation and cooking to promote independence and healthy eating habits
  • Provide a friendly, child-aware presence and basic assistance with young children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being
  • Maintain a calm and respectful atmosphere in the home to create a sense of stability and security
  • Encourage daily living skills and routine to promote personal growth and development
  • Communicate effectively with care coordination teams to ensure seamless support services
Position Details:
  • This is an in-person role based in Singleton, NSW
  • You will work 2 shifts per week, each shift lasting a minimum of 2 hours
  • Preferring weekday mornings, but some flexibility is available
  • The total weekly commitment is approximately 4-6 hours
  • This is an ongoing casual position
Essential Criteria:
  • You must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A current Working with Childrens Check is also required
  • You have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • FIRST AID AND CPR CERTIFICATION IS ESSENTIAL
  • You hold a current driver's license and have access to transport
  • You have experience working in home-based disability support or community care
  • You respect Christian values and the participant's family environment
