Senior Nutrition Research Professor

This is a full-time, ongoing position to join the Department of Food Technology and Nutrition as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor. The role involves contributing to teaching and research efforts in human nutrition and clinical studies.
About the Role- Conduct high-impact, translational research aligned with the university's research priorities in food technology and nutrition.
- Areas of interest include applied and clinical study of food/nutrition/clinical interventions, dietary equity, sustainable food systems, nutrition entrepreneurship, health-focused food product development, and scalable community nutrition solutions.
- Secure external funding for research and mentor early-career researchers and students.
The Associate Professor will provide academic leadership in integrating nutrition science for promoting health through food systems innovation across teaching and research activities.
This appointment will strengthen the school's capacity to address pressing global challenges in food security, nutrition equity, and sustainable health-focused food business models.
To be successful in this position, you will have:- Demonstrated ability to deliver courses in Human Nutrition at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Experience contributing to course delivery and coordination in public health, community nutrition, or food systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
- An emerging nationally recognized research profile in applied and/or clinical nutrition, sustainable food systems, or nutrition-focused entrepreneurship.
- Experience working collaboratively in research teams and supervising higher degree by research candidates.
