Job Opportunity for Experienced Auto Electricians
A rotational roster position is available in our African operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment, ensuring safety and minimum downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance on mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and rectify equipment faults to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of workshop and working areas to maintain a high level of housekeeping.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of maintenance activities.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in auto electrical work, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Sound knowledge of underground mining equipment and automation systems.
- Experience training less qualified tradespeople in a mining environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- International Driver's License.
A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen, site-specific clearances, National Police Clearance, necessary tickets or qualifications, and array of vaccinations, is required.
