Dalby Christian College is a co-educational, Prep-Year 12 Christian School with secondary boarding and an Early Learning Centre. The College was established in 1981 and teaches from a Biblical Christian Worldview with the purpose of equipping young people of character and purpose in Christ.
The College seeks a part-time Primary Teacher (2 days per week) for 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion to see each student succeed and be highly motivated and organised in planning and delivery of the curriculum.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the ability to integrate a Biblical Christian worldview into curriculum. You should also have the capacity to teach Christian faith lessons as part of the character development program.
The successful applicant will be committed to pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach primary subjects to students aged 5-11 years
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and growth
- Provide individualised support to students who require additional assistance
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education or related field
- Valid Queensland Teachers Registration Board (QTRB) accreditation
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Passion for Christian education and commitment to integrating faith into teaching practice
