Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Specialist to join our team at Techtronic Industries. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing demand inputs, system health, and forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage demand inputs and system health for baseline forecast generation
  • Collaborate with business unit account managers to gain account intelligence
  • Accurately input product lifecycle information, including new product launches, transitions, and deletions
  • Collaborate with key customers to align assumptions and manage risks and opportunities to the plan
  • Coordinate the handover process between S&OP and S&OE
  • Facilitate the portfolio management process, providing key outputs for decision making
  • Coordinate the budget volume build by business unit
  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve demand and overall supply chain processes

Key Objectives:

  • Deliver the demand and portfolio processes within S&OP for BUWMAPE
  • Reduce weighted mean absolute percentage error by 3 YOY
  • Improve service metrics as defined by the S&OP process
  • Reduce working capital (inventory) – SS reduction
  • Improve forecast accuracy to suppliers
  • Deliver CI programs to enhance numerical metrics

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L relationships
  • 3+ years of demand planning experience in Tier 1 or 2 companies
  • 3+ years of managing demand processes in an S&OP or IBP environment
  • 3+ years of proficiency in demand system platforms
  • Demonstrated customer focus
  • Demonstrated delivery of CI to improve demand outcomes
  • Product portfolio administration experience
  • Experience in external and internal collaboration
  • Demonstrated strong influencing and communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel mandatory)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to engage multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
