Job Title: Senior Creative Designer

Job Summary:

The Melbourne Cricket Club is seeking a highly skilled Senior Creative Designer to join our Marketing Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end design and creative services to support the promotion of our brands, products, and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and execute print and digital design work to support the promotion of our brands, products, and experiences across various channels.
  • Work with the Brand and Marketing Manager to interpret, manage, and deliver design briefs from across the business within agreed timelines and ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Operations and Partnerships Department to develop creative concepts that support the effective delivery of key strategies, marketing campaigns, and content plans.
  • Maintain the integrity of our brands and visual identities, including brand style guides, templates, and specifications.
  • Contribute to creative discussions as part of the weekly Communications, Marketing, and Community team meeting, promoting innovation, new content ideas, and advice.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in design, graphic arts, or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years design experience (mid-weight to Senior Designer) in an in-house or agency design role.
  • Advanced knowledge of design tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and After Effects).
  • A self-motivated, team player, and passion for all things design.
  • A strong portfolio of previous creative work across digital and print.
  • Strong knowledge of brands and ability to develop creative concepts.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire for genuine collaboration.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines while delivering exceptional service.
