Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre Enrolled Nurse Role

The Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join its Primary Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

As an Enrolled Nurse at the Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can apply your skills and knowledge to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided by the centre.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • At least one full year of nursing experience.
