The Role

We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:

  • Current registration as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • At least one full year of nursing experience.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing, and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients.

Our Location

The Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC) is a maximum-security correctional facility for male offenders, part of the Silverwater Correctional Complex in Sydney. Inmates who arrive at the MRRC:

  • Come directly from court on remand
  • Stay at the MRRC while attending court in the Sydney Metropolitan Area
  • Await transfer to a centre matching their classification

Most offenders leave within a few months, either due to bail, transfer, or other reasons.
