About the Opportunity

Abergeldie has been selected as one of two Delivery Partners for Yarra Valley Water's Delivery Reliability Program, supporting the delivery of reliable water and sewerage services to over 2 million Victorians. This program includes planned inspections, maintenance, and renewals of water and sewer networks and associated network assets, designed to support the health and well-being of customers, communities, and the environment.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of multiple projects across the Yarra Valley Program. As a Project Manager, you will lead a team, providing expert technical advice, managing project and team performance, and driving successful project outcomes across multiple projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of project managers and engineers to deliver multiple projects across the Yarra Valley Program
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to project teams
  • Manage project and team performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Yarra Valley Water, to ensure project deliverables meet their requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience working on water and sewer projects, preferably in a project management role
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines
