About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Enrolled Nurse with experience in rural nursing and emergency care to join our team at CollarCare.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in rural and emergency settings.
  2. Utilize the ieMR system for accurate patient documentation and information management.
  3. Collaborate with medical and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
  5. Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
  6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  7. Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated experience in rural nursing and emergency care.
  2. Proficiency in using the ieMR system.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  5. ALS, BLS, Resus, and Triage certificates.
  6. Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK).
  7. Manual and patient handling.
  8. Infection control.
  9. Aggressive behavior management.
  10. Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect.
  11. Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations.
  12. AHPRA Registration (must be current).
  13. Australian National Police Check.
  14. Australian Immunisation History.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Integrated electronic medical record training.
  2. Online induction training.
  3. Any other training as requested.
