
Theatre Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Theatre Store Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless management of theatre supplies, directly impacting the quality of care our patients receive.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular stock counts and reorder supplies to maintain optimal levels, guaranteeing uninterrupted patient care.
- Monitor and adjust minimum and maximum stock levels in response to usage fluctuations, maintaining balance and efficiency.
- Establish effective communication with team members and theatre staff to address stock-related issues that may impact patient care.
- Implement manual handling policies and procedures for all lifting, pushing, and pulling processes to ensure safety.
Our hospital is a 60-bed acute and rehabilitation facility with 3 operating theatres located on the Redcliffe Peninsula. We provide specialized services in orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine, as well as leading rehabilitation services and programs.
Requirements- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Physical capability to handle manual tasks and lift items as required.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Australian working rights.
