We are a monthly publication focused on RV travel and lifestyle. Our content spans various aspects, including RV travel tips, gear reviews, club news, and more.

The challenge:

We seek an experienced Magazine Editor to lead our editorial team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing freelance contributors, overseeing the editorial process, and ensuring high-quality content for our monthly issues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage freelance journalists and ensure timely content delivery.
  2. Source and edit articles and images for each issue.
  3. Fully control the editorial workflow, making decisions to maximize content value.
  4. Collaborate with the Content Lead to align the magazine's direction with the overall vision.
  5. Coordinate with our design team to support the magazine's design process.
  6. Assess current publication practices and propose improvements for content quality and operational efficiency.
  7. Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to drive revenue growth.

Your skills:

  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in an editor or assistant editor role.
  2. Strong background in magazine editing and content operations.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  5. A genuine passion for RV travel, lifestyle, and related content is a plus.
