Job Title: Teacher - Plumbing, Maths & Pastoral Care

Newman Senior Technical College is a leading senior secondary college on the NSW North Coast with high VET course enrolments. We provide students with opportunities to achieve their HSC and national qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To teach Plumbing, Maths and Pastoral Care subjects to students in accordance with curriculum requirements.
  • To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team and contribute to the academic success of our students.

We require applicants to have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate III in Plumbing, teaching qualification, valid NSW Working with Children Check and full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) are also essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40122
  • Certificate III in Plumbing CPC32420
  • Teaching qualification
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check

  • Demonstration of knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • Evidence of qualifications in a specialised faculty
