Newman Senior Technical College is one of the largest senior secondary colleges on the NSW North Coast, with high VET course enrolments. The college offers students opportunities to achieve their HSC and national qualifications.

We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following position:

VET TEACHER - Electrotechnology and Manufacturing & Engineering

Temporary, full-time position for Term 4, 2025.

Qualifications (preferred):
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40122
  • Certificate II in Engineering Pathways - MEM20413
  • Certificate II in Electrotechnology - UEE22020
Applicants Must:
  • Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Comply with the Accreditation to Work, Teach, and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • Evidence of qualifications in a specialised faculty
  • Ability to work as part of a professional teaching team, committed to quality education in partnership with parents
  • Ability to teach another subject
  • Willingness to contribute positively to the professional learning community
  • Willingness to support the religious dimension of the College
