Pool Lifeguard Job Description

Shellharbour City is seeking a qualified and experienced Pool Lifeguard to join our aquatic team. As a Pool Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool patrons while also providing a high level of customer service.

The role requires individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, possess strong communication skills, and have experience in aquatic settings.

You will work closely with other lifeguards and support staff to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all pool users.

  • Provide emergency care as needed
  • Monitor and enforce pool rules and regulations
  • Respond to aquatic emergencies in a calm and professional manner
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must:

  • Hold current lifesaving certificates (e.g., First Aid, CPR)
  • Have experience working in aquatic environments
  • Be physically fit and able to perform lifeguard duties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
