About the Role

We are seeking a warm and friendly individual to join our team as a Dining Services Assistant in our retirement living community. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our residents during meal times.

Job Description
  • Salary: $32.33 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + relevant award entitlements, including penalty rates, overtime, and allowances + superannuation

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily preparation of meals, kitchen hand duties, and delivering food and beverages to residents. You will also assist with setting up and packing down the restaurant, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy at all times.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or customer service environment and possess excellent communication skills. A current Police check and minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents during meal times
  • Assist with the daily preparation of meals and kitchen hand duties
  • Deliver food and beverages to residents
  • Assist with setting up and packing down the restaurant
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
