**Job Opportunity:** Transfer Station Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate onsite plant and equipment with precision and attention to detail.
  • Direct traffic within the transfer station, ensuring a safe and efficient flow of vehicles.
  • Manage all records and paperwork accurately, maintaining high levels of professionalism.
  • Perform general labouring duties as required, supporting the team in achieving their goals.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and enquires, providing timely and helpful assistance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as weighbridge coverage, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in waste management is highly regarded.
  • Weighbridge experience is also highly valued.
  • Essential knowledge or operation of yellow machinery is crucial for this role.
  • Excavator, Loader, and Forklift tickets are mandatory for this position.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate a professional manner are essential.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude are necessary to succeed in this role.
