Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader to lead a team of staff in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective responses to Victorian individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and seeking support through the 24/7 Crisis Contact Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective responses to Victorian individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and seeking support through the 24/7 Crisis Contact Centre.
  • Reporting to the Program Manager for formal line management and supervision, this is a permanent full-time position, based in St Kilda, VIC.
  • Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 6.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service, and study/development.
  • Relevant experience in supervising staff.
  • Ability to coach, supervise, and manage change.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Creative outcome-focused attitude.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced communication, written, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to ensure service delivery outcomes meet the required target.
  • Relevant degree or above qualifications.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations.
  • Initiative to solve service delivery challenges.
  • A Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
