**Role Overview**

A highly skilled Fitter and Armourer is sought after to join our Defence Maintenance Contract team based in the Enoggera Region.

As a key member of our team, you will utilise your exceptional technical expertise to inspect, repair and recondition military hardware. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct embedded support and collaboration with Defence teams to ensure hardware is functional and training objectives are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform maintenance, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on military hardware and Defence armaments
  • Safely operate machinery to repair, manufacture or modify required parts
  • Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose
  • Provide occasional support to various Defence Bases across the state assisting with Armory maintenance

**Requirements:**

  • Possess a Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (Fitter & Turner) or Certificate III Engineering Mechanic (General Fitter)
  • Hold valid Australian Driver's License
  • MR or HR License - Desirable
  • Physically fit and enjoy hands-on work
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
