Job Title

We are seeking an Education Compliance Specialist to lead our Teacher Engagement and Registration team.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that will oversee the development and implementation of education compliance programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Collect and report on program data and key issues.
  • Develop operational solutions in line with organizational regulatory approach.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff implementing policy and support functions.
Accountabilities
  • Develop and monitor a risk-based business plan for Education Compliance.
  • Design and coordinate delivery of education programs to external stakeholders.
  • Implement risk-based compliance monitoring programs.
  • Mentor staff and build team capacity through coaching and development.
  • Demonstrate accountability for achievement of team objectives.
Delegations and Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of three staff members.
Selection Criteria
  • Strong knowledge of risk-based regulatory practices and processes.
  • Leadership abilities including building a shared sense of direction and responding proactively to strategic issues.
  • Excellent organisational awareness and ability to translate this into effective risk management practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Operational and change management skills.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education compliance and leadership. They will be able to develop and implement strategic plans, manage teams, and collaborate with stakeholders.
