Your future role as a Service Engineer will be to advance your career in Engineering and Maintenance by working on the Rolling Stock team. You'll collaborate with motivated teammates on maintenance activities in West Melbourne, reviewing processes to optimize exams and reduce costs.
Main Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining robust vehicle configuration change procedures for modifications and trials.
- Developing data collection methods and procedures, managing visualisation boards and analyzing trends in vehicle performance.
- Evaluating and analyzing vehicle condition, calculating equipment failure rates, developing availability models to support projects and proposed designs.
- Creating preventative / corrective maintenance guides, assisting fault diagnosis, identification and production of vehicle modification programs and vehicle modifications as required.
- Establishing, maintaining and delivering training material in line with maintenance needs and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Liaising with operators on a regular basis regarding fleet status to ensure maximum possible availability always.

- High level of technical knowledge in Engineering and Maintenance.
