Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Engine Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.
  • Technical Support: Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs on engines and related components.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance activities on engines and related components to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Apprentice-trained engine technician or vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Experience: Basic level field service work experience and intermediate level knowledge of engine products.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to work independently.
