About The Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Lead to oversee our DevOps team and drive the adoption of best practices, tools and culture across our engineering and operations teams.

The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, aligning efforts with broader business and technology objectives.

  • Spearhead the implementation of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment strategies that enhance speed and reliability.
  • Partner closely with software development, security, infrastructure, and product teams to align DevOps capabilities with business needs.
  • Define team goals, manage performance, and oversee hiring, onboarding, and professional development.

This is a key role in driving innovation and ensuring high availability of services.

Responsibilities

The DevOps Lead will be responsible for:

  1. Defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  2. Driving continuous integration, delivery, and deployment strategies that enhance speed and reliability.
  3. Implementing robust SRE practices to ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  4. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams to align DevOps capabilities with business needs.
  5. Leading technical reviews and providing expert guidance on cloud architecture, tooling, and deployment strategies.
  6. Championing security-first principles, embedding DevSecOps practices in all DevOps processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and culture, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role with proven team-building success.
  • Expertise in leading DevOps at scale within cloud-native environments.
  • Proven track record implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • In-depth experience with containerization and orchestration of best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sound knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management frameworks.
