Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across our well-established Victorian territory. This exciting role will see you taking ownership of the region, driving revenue and gross profit through effective management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow sales across our established Victorian territory, focusing on key retailers and trade partners.
  • Maintain a structured call cycle, identifying new business opportunities and presenting promotional activity.
  • Expand brand presence within stores, ensuring consistent product visibility and engagement.
  • Host trade nights and run product training for retail and counter staff.
  • Achieve accurate sales forecasting using CRM systems (NetSuite, Numerik).
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, planning sessions, and team training.
Requirements:
  • You have experience in business development or territory sales, preferably in hardware, tools, or adjacent industries.
  • You possess strong communication skills, confidence on the road, and the ability to build customer relationships.
  • You may not have held the formal title of BDM, but you've delivered results in a high-level sales capacity.
  • You're organised, target-driven, and comfortable working independently while staying connected to the broader team.
  • You're proactive, energetic, and excited to take on a mature territory with genuine potential for further growth.

  • Experience working with major hardware retailers or trade customer networks.
  • Previous exposure to the tools, construction, or industrial product space.
