Geologist Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Geologist to join our high-performing team in Western Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for on-the-job training, professional development, and mentorship by some of the best Mine Geologists in the industry.
About the Job:
- Supervise underground drilling programs, logging, and validation to ensure accurate data collection.
- Utilize site systems and quality control protocols to guarantee data quality and integrity.
- Collect and analyze underground grade control data (face mapping, face sampling) for block modeling purposes.
- Perform production duties to optimize gold ore production from underground mining operations.
- Accurately sample, interpret, communicate, and document geological, mining, and geotechnical data in the mine environment.
- Ensure daily ore production data is accurately reported.
Key Requirements:
- Formal tertiary qualification in Geology or a related field.
- Ability to work in a hard rock underground environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
