Production Scheduling and Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasted demand for local and export markets.

The successful candidate will have expertise in production planning tools, including SAP PP and SAP IBP/APO. Additionally, they will have experience with MRP systems and be proficient in data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasted demand
• Monitoring and updating the 12-month rolling forecast monthly
• Receiving, controlling, and communicating the 5-week locked-in plan from customers and ensuring its feasibility
• Releasing production and loading plan reports, ensuring alignment with factory capacity and resource availability
• Adjusting schedules to address unplanned disruptions such as machine breakdowns or component shortages

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing multiple priorities.

Customer Communication and Satisfaction

Our ideal candidate will provide weekly shipment summaries to customers, ensuring data accuracy even during holidays. They will also address customer concerns proactively and manage expectations effectively.

Data Analysis and Reporting

The successful candidate will analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. They will prepare and present detailed reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence.

Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

The ideal candidate will develop and communicate business plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. They will provide corrective action plans where necessary and inform stakeholders of required support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Additionally, we require at least 3 years of experience in production planning & scheduling or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning & scheduling or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in production planning tools (SAP PP, SAP IBP/APO, MRP systems)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing multiple priorities
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems
• Ability to manage and analyze large datasets from various sources
