Key Role Summary

This leadership position plays a pivotal role in enhancing teacher effectiveness and student learning outcomes within Mathematics.

We are seeking an innovative leader to drive a strategic transition to a new mode of curriculum delivery.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula aligned with SACE and the Australian Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Mentor and support staff through coaching, performance reviews, and professional development opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform teaching practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote innovative and differentiated teaching strategies that cater to diverse learner needs.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and the wider educational community.
  • Contribute to the spiritual life of the institution through devotions and chapel leadership.

Essential Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold current South Australian Teacher's Registration and preferably possess HAT or Lead accreditation.

They will demonstrate strong leadership skills in curriculum development, pedagogy, and staff support, with a deep understanding of Lutheran education principles and the Christian ethos.

Proven experience in driving innovation and fostering community engagement is essential, along with a solid working knowledge of SACE and the Australian Curriculum.

The ability to teach senior mathematics subjects, including Specialist Mathematics and Mathematical Methods, is highly desirable.
