Academic Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a senior academic to provide leadership in research and education in the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences. The successful candidate will be an outstanding researcher in pure mathematics with strong plans for future research and broad experience in teaching and postgraduate supervision.

In 2026, the mathematics teams will join in a new School of Mathematical Sciences. The joint team's research strengths in pure mathematics include differential geometry, noncommutative geometry, complex geometry, partial differential equations, complex and harmonic analysis, and mathematical physics. The team is committed to educational quality and pedagogical innovation and is excited to offer new coursework programs in 2026.

  • Demonstrated ability to secure significant research funding
  • Demonstrated ability and broad experience in teaching, with a record of successful curriculum development and pedagogical innovation
  • Ability and willingness to provide leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of the School
