Bid Manager

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Commercial and Industrial Customers Team at AGL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting high-quality tender responses for energy solutions products and services in the C&I sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a detailed understanding of AGL's value proposition and prepare detailed proposals/tender responses highlighting AGL's experience, capability, and ability to meet customers' needs.
- Monitor tender portals and identify opportunities that align with business objectives, reviewing tender documents and establishing a detailed understanding of tender requirements.
- Set up bid plans, establish a Bid Team, and assign accountability, responsibilities, and timeframes to each team member.
- Implement bid governance controls and ensure appropriate sign-off is achieved in accordance with the delegation of authority framework.
- Work with the legal/finance team to negotiate contract terms and conditions in accordance with business rules and track and communicate the status of sales opportunities using CRM tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a similar field with experience in bid campaign management, including an understanding of the energy market and energy solutions space.
- Proven capability in planning, producing, and delivering winning, multi-million-dollar bids for product or complex services opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into deal summaries, bid plans, detailed proposals, and assign accountability and timeframes to key stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly read through and interpret complex tender documents and customer requirements.
- Strong writing skills and intermediate Microsoft Office experience, as well as experience working with CRM solutions to report and track pipeline progress.
