Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Senior DBA, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions for PAAS services.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Exadata, Autonomous Databases, RAC & Dataguard, and a strong understanding of database concepts, SQL queries, and tuning principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions for PAAS services
  • Managing and maintaining Oracle and RAC on various platforms
  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a senior Oracle DBA, with expertise in HA and DR solutions
  • Strong experience with Oracle ASM/ACFS implementation, scripting, and automation
  • Knowledge of backup utilities like RMAN & EXPDP/IMPDP, CRSCTL, SRVCTL, NetBackup, Networker
  • Excellent command over speaking and writing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good grip over table fine-tuning and troubleshooting, with experience in database and SQL queries tuning
  • In-depth understanding of advanced architectures, including multi-node, RAC, and ASM
