About the Role

As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through strategic technology leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of Application Platforms
  • Architecture Strategy and Planning
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business needs and translate them into next-generation technical requirements and architectural designs.
    • Establish and communicate architectural guidelines, principles, and best practices to ensure consistent and standardized solutions and architecturally aligned programs.
  • ERP & Group Services Systems Design
    • Lead the design and evaluation of Group Services systems, including general ledger, human resources, risk management, and regulatory reporting platforms, and integration with third-party services.
    • Analyse existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement, system consolidation, decommissioning, and optimization of processes.
  • Technology Innovation
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, industry standards, and emerging innovations in the banking sector, including AI and advanced algorithms.
    • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance our banking capabilities and user experience.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Ensure the architecture of Group Services systems complies with relevant security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
    • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on ERP systems and architecture.
  • Proven experience as an enterprise and solution architect or similar leadership role, overseeing complex architecture designs and implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration into various banking technologies, such as transaction processing systems, databases, APIs, cloud services, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOX.
