Our organization seeks an experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality paintwork is achieved on various surfaces.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in painting and a keen eye for detail. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding and washing as necessary.
- Mixing Paint Colors: Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and ensure consistent application.
- Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect and assess completed work for quality and conformity with specifications.
- Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other tradespersons to complete projects on time.
- No Educational Qualifications Required, experience in the field is valued.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in painting, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- Painting Techniques: Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials and tools.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in painting trades.
- Independence and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines.
