Product Management Role Overview

This role plays a critical part in shaping and sharing the strategic vision for our product portfolio. The successful candidate will lead all elements of product management, including development, pricing, innovation, performance, stock management, lifecycles, and roadmaps.

The Product Manager's primary accountability is the execution of the product strategy to drive customer-focused outcomes. They will be responsible for managing and monitoring product lifecycles, focusing on product rationalization, performance, pricing, margin, and stock control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Product Vision
  • Develop, manage and execute initiatives aligned to the achievement of the product vision.
  • Manage and monitor product lifecycles, focusing on product rationalisation, performance, pricing, margin, and stock control.
    • Stakeholder & Change Management
    • Provide key inputs for leadership reports and working sessions.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a collaborative approach.
      • Thought Leadership & Reporting
      • Act as a thought leader, bringing the organisation on the journey of product development and innovation.
      • Develop data-driven insights and facilitate decision making.
        • Risk Management & Compliance
        • Ensure all product development strategies and executions adhere to relevant policies.
        • Monitor risks related to product development and report instances outside of tolerance.
      Requirements
      • A relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years' experience in product management.
      • Experience in delivering and managing successful product suites in a complex environment.
      • Prior experience as a Product Manager / Principal / Lead in a similar environment and demonstrated achievements at both a strategic and operational level.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a natural collaborative approach.
