We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture. As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processing facilities and other areas of the operation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality and timely preventative instrumentation maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required.
- Work closely with the Electrical Supervisor to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of plant equipment.
- Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and expertise to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping through workshops and wherever work is carried out.
- Record all relevant information into Gold Fields CMMS- AMT/SAP as required.
- You will hold a WA Electrical Licence and Certificate IV in Instrumentation.
- You will have proven Instrumentation maintenance experience of a mineral processing plant, preferably gold processing plants.
- You will have HV switching ticket with proven experience and competency in High Voltage Switching Operations.
- You will have good Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs.
- You will have extensive knowledge of process technologies and equipment.
- You will have a valid WA Drivers Licence.
