About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at the Sussex Hotel in Walkerville. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage and gaming facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of hospitality staff and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including responsible service of alcohol and gaming laws
  • Manage cash handling and inventory procedures to maintain accurate records and minimize losses
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive work environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of five years of hospitality experience, with a strong background in food and beverage and gaming operations. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
