Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering direct and comprehensive nursing care to residents, coordinating services, and implementing individualised care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs.
- Coordinate services with other disciplines and agencies to maximise care outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Identify and manage clinical risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
- Collaborate with residents, care partners, and care providers to develop plans and initiatives that promote health and quality of life.
- Provide education, counselling, and group work services to residents.
- Supervise and support less experienced staff, including Enrolled Nurses, personal care workers, and students.
- Participate in action research and policy development within the care setting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities to support quality care outcomes.
- Bachelor of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration.
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of residents.
- Capable of functioning autonomously and prioritising work and the work of others within established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Display a high level of problem-solving skills and techniques with subsequent evaluation of outcomes.
- Demonstrate and role model behaviours that align with Harbison's Code of Conduct, Values, and pillars of customer service.
- Proven ability to lead and direct a care services team.
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of the industry's practices and relevant statutory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong relationship building skills and customer-centric approach.
- Employed under the Harbison Nursing Enterprise Agreement and paid at rates above the NSW Health Nurses' Award.
