Strategic Asset Management Expert

As a skilled and experienced Strategic Asset Management Expert, you will champion the implementation and continuous improvement of our Asset Management System.

You will maintain the effectiveness and regulatory compliance of our asset management frameworks across NSW, ACT, and VIC by working closely with stakeholders. This includes managing safety and risk assessments, helping teams understand and adapt to asset management practices, and supporting performance and compliance reporting.

You are a systems thinker with a strategic mindset and a strong foundation in asset management principles. You thrive in complex, regulated environments and have a knack for translating technical requirements into practical improvements. Your collaborative nature allows you to engage effectively across all levels of an organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and continuously improve our Asset Management System
  • Maintain regulatory compliance of asset management frameworks
  • Manage safety and risk assessments
  • Support performance and compliance reporting

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline
  • Experience in risk management processes and/or process safety
  • Knowledge of the asset lifecycle management and systems to support and meet ISO 55001 requirements
  • Knowledge of the principles and experience in working with Management Systems, including Health and Safety, Environment, Electricity Network Safety, Asset Management and Quality
