**Job Overview**

Serve as a lead designer of automation functionality and system design, partnering with project teams to offer high-quality solutions.

The role involves leading the development, testing, and implementation of automation systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and functional specifications.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders to review, test, and provide feedback on vendor proposals and functional specifications.

Additionally, you will participate in site continuous improvement programs and support the development and delivery of project business cases.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, develop, and implement automation systems to meet business needs.
  • Partner with vendors to review, test, and provide feedback on their proposals and functional specifications.
  • Lead the review and approval of functional specifications delivered by vendors.
  • Facilitate the design, review, and sign-off of host interface specifications aligned with functional requirements.
  • Support the design, review, and testing of interface/infrastructure requirements.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Broad operational experience in supply chain or warehouse control systems, preferably in automation.
  • Previous experience elaborating and reviewing functional specifications.
  • Project management experience, ideally in managing end-to-end multi-million dollar spend facility automation projects.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and gain credibility with senior stakeholders and project teams.
  • Well-developed consulting toolkit and problem-solving skills, including an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset.
