Senior SAP FICO Consultant Role

This position requires a senior-level professional to deliver high-quality application support and functional leadership across finance, logistics, and shared services.


About the Position
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in SAP FI/CO, with strong skills in configuration, project delivery, and technical solutions.
  • They will possess deep knowledge of SAP Finance, Controlling, and integration between ECC modules.
  • Able to analyze business requirements, translate them into scalable SAP solutions, and lead functional design and delivery of system enhancements.
  • Responsible for configuring core SAP Finance and Controlling modules, collaborating with ABAP developers, conducting testing, and maintaining system documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-level SAP FI/CO support.
  • Analyze and document business requirements and translate into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Lead functional design and delivery of system enhancements and change requests.
  • Configure core SAP Finance and Controlling modules (GL, AA, PCA, CO-OM, IM, PS).
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers to deliver technical solutions and functional specs.
  • Conduct testing, including unit and integration, with full documentation and traceability.
  • Support SAP patching, continuous improvement initiatives, and integration projects.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure adherence to change governance.
  • Work closely with logistics, architecture, and vendor teams on cross-functional solutions.

Required Skills:
  • Deep understanding of SAP Finance, Controlling, and integration between ECC modules.
  • Strong skills in configuration, project delivery, and technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP workflows and cross-functional system integration.
  • Experience with basic ABAP, SAP security methodology, or managing small-scale projects.

Bonus Points:
  • Exposure to SAP PI/PO, SharePoint, BI/BO, Fiori, or S/4 HANA environments.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
