About This Opportunity

  • We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team.
  • Key responsibilities will include collecting biological specimens from patients in a safe and professional manner.
  • These specimens will be labelled and processed according to established protocols.
  • You will also provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the collection area is also essential.
  • Collaboration with team members is required to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Requirements
  • A background in customer service is preferred, with a focus on prioritising patient care.
  • Previous experience working in health, aged care or community sectors, or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently manage time is crucial.
  • A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within your role is also important.
  • A First Aid Certificate is a requirement for this position.
